ANY LAST WORDS? / HOW IT WORKS

A plan. Not a leap of faith.

We work out what you want to happen after you die, preserve the instructions you approve, and agree when and how they can be carried out.

First, a private conversation.

A broad idea is enough to check suitability. You don’t need to send the message itself. If the request is suitable, we explain the consultation, scope and proposed costs before detailed work starts.

For customers aged 18 and over. A short suitability contact is proposed to be free; detailed planning is paid work agreed separately. Consultations may be in person, by video or over the phone.

Planning & creation.

We assess feasibility, agree essential outcomes and presentation preferences, and prepare your Final Instructions Record. You approve the final version and receive a current copy. Identity verification and nominated contacts form part of onboarding.

The record distinguishes what must happen from what you would prefer. That might mean an exact message or anniversary date is essential, while flowers, presentation or a vehicle have an approved alternative.

You can have several Final Words. Each keeps its own recipients, trigger, budget and approved fallback. Requested edits remain separate from the approved version until reviewed and approved.

Ongoing care.

Ongoing care runs for a defined period, subject to the agreement. Your approved instructions are recorded separately. We reconfirm wishes, contacts and feasibility as part of the agreed maintenance schedule. Minor updates and substantial rewrites are treated according to the amendment allowance.

Renewal periods and prices are not yet final. A lapsed care term does not automatically revoke instructions or cancel separately funded delivery rights. The status of each must be clear. The renewal and review process will be explained before activation.

Future delivery.

The intended notification plan uses several routes: acknowledged primary and backup contacts, plus professional arrangements where accepted. These routes need review over time. None guarantees that ALW will learn of a death before a time-critical event, including a funeral. A report prompts verification and human review, not automatic release. We then check authority and coordinate with the appropriate people and venue.

An instruction may be for a funeral, a private delivery or an agreed date years later. A series of birthday or anniversary deliveries needs a finite number, funding and instructions for changed circumstances. Final commercial and funding terms remain to be established.

If a preferred detail is unavailable, only previously approved substitutions apply. If an essential outcome cannot be delivered, the agreed fallback or contractual remedy process applies.

If notification comes late or a representative cannot attend, an approved substitute, remote format or later private delivery may be possible. We agree these choices in advance. Silence or absence is not consent to invent a different delivery.

A clear quote before a commitment.

Planning work performed now, time-limited maintenance and future execution have separate commercial treatment. The quote identifies travel, representative time, vehicle day hire and other third-party costs where relevant.

Payment, renewal, cancellation and future execution terms are being finalised. No payment is taken through this preview.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Before
you ask.

Do I have to be dying?

No. Ideally, we’d prefer you weren’t. ALW is for customers aged 18 and over. You do not need to share medical information in your first enquiry.

Can I leave more than one Final Word?

Yes. You might plan a funeral message, a private video or keepsake, and a finite series of birthday flowers for your partner. Each has its own approved instructions, timing and funding. Where work can genuinely be shared, planning can be shared too.

What if I live another 40 years?

We hope you do. Planning, ongoing care and future delivery are separate. The care period, reviews, renewal costs and delivery funding must be explained before you commit. One payment is not an unconditional lifetime promise.

How will you know I’ve died?

The intended approach is to plan more than one notification route, including acknowledged people and professional arrangements where accepted. No method guarantees we will learn before a funeral. Reports must be checked before any delivery is authorised; we do not automatically release messages.

What if you find out too late?

Every time-critical instruction needs an alternative you approve while planning. That could be a later private delivery, a memorial, another agreed format or no delivery. We do not invent a meaningful substitute after your death.

Can I change my instructions?

You can request changes. Proposed edits stay separate from the approved version until reviewed and approved. You receive the current record. Included changes and additional planning costs will be explained in your agreement.

What if my family doesn’t want you there?

Access and participation are coordinated with the appropriate people and venue. ALW does not force entry or interrupt a ceremony. We plan approved alternatives for circumstances where the original arrangement cannot proceed.

Does stopping care cancel my message?

Care, approved instructions and delivery funding are different things. Ending care is not automatically the same as revoking an instruction or losing a separately purchased delivery. The agreement must explain the consequences, any remaining obligations and your options.

Can I choose who delivers it?

You can request a representative whose presentation suits the instruction — discreet, traditional, alternative, understated or something more specific. A particular person can be a preference. Suitability, availability and permitted substitutes must be agreed beforehand; we do not guarantee a particular person’s attendance.

Can I request something unusual?

Yes. Clothing, arrival, music, symbolic actions and individually planned performances can be considered. Staged mourning is permitted; knowingly lying is not. Law, safety, venue access and truthful professional coordination still apply.

What does it cost?

Detailed planning, ongoing care and delivery are separate. The proposed first step is a free short suitability contact, with detailed work quoted before commitment. Service prices are still under review; see Pricing for the intended structure.

Is this a will?

No. ALW is a personal-instruction and delivery service. It does not replace a will, executor or legal advice.
